2026 - a new start!

After a couple of years off I have decided to repost my favourite books, exhibitions and general cultural events. I hope my followers will enjoy them!
January 2026: a visit to Winchester for The Beauty of the Earth: The Art of May, Jane and William Morris. This was an excellent exhibition combining design, fabrics, pictures and the written word. Though small, it was a perfect picture of the Morris's talent and achievements. Such a talented group of artists and I really enjoyed it It was held in the Arc, the fantastic library space in Winchester which encompasses everything a library should be: great books of course, exhibition space, artefacts on display, groups knitting and drawing; a coffee shop and a great children's library with lots of activities on a regular basis.
